Wentworth Institute of Technology announces three students from the electromechanical engineering program have earned first place at this year’s regional 2008 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Design Competition

Wentworth Institute of Technology today announced six students in the Institute’s construction management program placed first in the Commercial Building division at the 2007 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) and Associated General Contractors (AGC) Regional Student Competition in Fairfield, NJ.

Wentworth Institute of Technology Professor Suzanne Kennedy was honored with the Educator of the Year Award from the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) at the World Workplace Conference in New Orleans on Friday, October 26.

Wentworth Institute of Technology celebrated the graduation of 453 students during its Summer Convocation ceremony, which took place on the quadrangle of Wentworth's campus on Saturday, August 18, 2007. Graduating students earned a Bachelor of Science degree, a Bachelor of Architecture degree, or an Associate in Applied Science degree. Honorary Doctor of Engineering Technology degrees were conferred upon John J. Tracy, Senior Vice President of Engineering, Operations and Technology, The Boeing Company; and upon David B. Perini, Commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM), Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
